I set off for Chinese street food and cuisine in deep southern Sichuan province by bicycle. I rode my bike down deep into Southern China's lush and mountainous liangshan region, in search of delicious Chinese street food and Chinese food. The Chinese food really was different in this region. The liangshan region is home to Chinese Yi ethnic minority, who have their own cuisine. It was very rural and in some areas also very poor, so I had difficulty finding the yi cuisine at first. Later in the second half of the video, I found a Yi restaurant and had a Chinese food feast! The little village I visited was called Butuo, about 120 km from Xichang. A multicultural display of extremely delicious specialty food is available for eating. Within Malaysian street food, there is Malay Street food, Chinese Street Food, and Indian street food all available to try and the options are endless. Kuala Lumpur street food is some of the best in the world. Street food around the world is different everywhere, but what is so special about Malaysia is how multicultural everything is and how unique the cooking and food culture is. So for my 3rd trip to Malaysia, we came for a Kuala Lumpur food tour. Chuchu and I decided to travel to Malaysia on a 4 day eating vacation to eat as much street food and local specialties as we could. One thing that we both fell in love with about Malaysian cuisine, is that you could really spend a lifetime eating here tasting the local varieties of Chinese food, Indian Food, and Malay Food. With our limited amount of time on this trip, we ate non stop to sample all of the Kuala Lumpur food available. That being said, in 4 days, we barely scratched the surface of Malaysian food, there is so much more! We visited a few famous Chinese cuisine places, a few famous Malay cuisine places, and of course some amazing Indian cuisine as well. Below are the addresses for the Malaysian cuisine that we sampled in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: 1) Chinese Indian Food (Fish Head Curry) - PUDU CHINESE INDIAN RICE @ RESTORAN SIN HIAP KEE 2) Nasi Campur and Ikan Bakar @ Gerai Pak Lang Ikan Bakar - Kampung Baru 3) Malaysian dessert street Cendol 4) Malaysian Nasi Lemak at Village Park 5) Banana Leaf Rice at Sri Paandi in Little India (Brickfields) 6) Nasi Dagang only open on the weekends at Nasi Dagang Warung Terengganu 6) Ooi Noodle House famous Pork Noodle 7), Jalan SS 15/4b, Ss 15, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia 8)Restoran Home Cooking @ Sungai Way, PJ - near the Indian temple at Sungai Way 9) Durian at SS2 Durian Wai’s Durian 10) Dry Bak Kut Teh AKA Rougucha @ Yap Chuan Bak Kut Teh, Puchong 11) Roti Canai at Nasi Kandar Pelita MY GEAR AND RESOURCES + MERCH ► New Camera (AWESOME 4K) : https://amzn.to/2MnyBsg ► Main Lens: https://amzn.to/2MjnuAr ► Great Second Lens (FOR CLOSEUPS): https://amzn.to/2ntJvhG ► Favourite Telephoto: https://amzn.to/2vy3lwU ► Take everywhere cam: https://amzn.to/2P0b2Eb ► Action Cam (WATERPROOF) https://amzn.to/2Macjec ► Audio Setup (GREAT for clear voice): https://amzn.to/2MgzYJc ► Memory Card (for 4K footage): https://amzn.to/2OZrOTO ► Editing Computer (SUPER FAST): https://amzn.to/2M9nIuD ► Main External Hard Drive: https://amzn.to/2OXr4P3 ► Main SSD Hard Drive: https://amzn.to/2OZOyTS ► How I Access The Internet ANYWHERE: https://amzn.to/2vv0TY3 ► MUSIC I USE (Great For YouTubers): http://bit.ly/FoodRangerMusic ►BEST VPN FOR CHINA (ACCESS YOUTUBE): http://bit.ly/AccessYouTubeinChina ► MERCH AVAILABLE HERE: https://shop.bonfire.com/thefoodranger/ ABOUT THE FOOD RANGER ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My name is Trevor James and I'm a hungry traveler and Mandarin learner that's currently living in Chengdu, Szechuan, China, eating up as much delicious . BBC - Italy Unpacked: The Art of the Feast

59:02
Andrew Graham-Dixon and chef Giorgio Locatelli travel through Italy exploring the country's history, culture, food, art and landscape. Their journey begins in Bologna, the capital of Emilia-Romagna, one of the richest regions in Italy. They find out why the city is know as la Dotta (the Learned), la Grassa (the Fat) and la Rossa (the Red), while visiting its shops, art institutions and the oldest university in the world. Andrew and Giorgio experience the social and friendly atmosphere of the region and meet fishermen casting huge nets at the mouth of the river Po. From there, it is a short journey to Ferrara where they discover the legacy left by the famous dynasty d'Este, and to Modena, home of balsamic vinegar and Ferrari. Finally, Giorgio reveals the source of modern Italian cuisine - at the Palatina Library in Parma he views an original copy of the first cook book of the newly united Italy - while Andrew admires Correggio's magnificent fresco in the dome of Parma Cathedral.

From the lively neighbourhoods of Wellington to the breathtaking Fiordland of the South Island, there's an adventure tucked away in every corner of this impressive country. Consider living out your own Lord of the Rings adventure in Hobbiton, or hike past Mt. Doom in Tongariro National Park. Not thrilling enough? Then skydive over Auckland, go white water rafting down Kaituna River or take a leap of faith and bungee jump in Queenstown! When you're in New Zealand, nearly ever adventure is only a stone's throw away. Make the most out of your visit to this remote island nation by assembling your bucket list with our travel guide. Booking a tour will ensure your trip is fun, flawless and stress-free: http://www.tourradar.com/d/new-zealand New Zealand boasts a temperate climate with plenty of sunshine and moderate rainfall. Because of the long coast line, you can expect mild temperatures for the most part. The average temperature decreases as you travel south; January and February are the warmest months with July being the coldest month of the year. Remember to pack your waterproof hiking boots, waterproof rain jacket, swimsuit, flip flops, thin gloves, hiking socks, sunglasses, and a camera with extra batteries. New Zealand's currency is the New Zealand Dollar (NZ$). You should expect to be able to switch between cash and cards quite seamlessly, as all major credit cards can be used in New Zealand. Alcohol and restaurant meals can range from moderate to quite expensive so prepare yourself accordingly. We'd like to thank New Zealand's incredible tourism board for allowing use of their travel footage: http://www.newzealand.com/ ---About New Zealand--- New Zealand, exists on a remote island in the Pacific Ocean and is home to over 4.6 million people, and nearly 30 million sheep. The country is divided into two portions: the North and South Islands separated by the Cook Strait. The North Island is home to many hot springs and geysers while the South Island is mountainous, forested and covered in glaciers. Over 75% of New Zealanders call the North Island home, and more than 15% of New Zealand's energy comes from renewable resources. 🤟 Find your tour through New Zealand: https://www.tourradar.com/d/New-Zealand?utm_source=Youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=New+Zealand:+The+Ultimate+Travel+Guide+by+TourRadar+5+5+ST1809-New+Zealand&utm_content=YT+Description ℹ️ Learn more about New Zealand: https://www.tourradar.com/travel-guide/New-Zealand?utm_source=Youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=New+Zealand:+The+Ultimate+Travel+Guide+by+TourRadar+5+5+ST1809-New+Zealand&utm_content=YT+Description 🎬 Watch another video: "7 Things To Do in Sri Lanka": https://youtu.be/u3ZarK9wigk 📚 Visit us on Days to Come: "7 Unnatural, Natural Sights of New Zealand": https://www.tourradar.com/days-to-come/natural-sights-of-new-zealand/?utm_source=Youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=New+Zealand:+The+Ultimate+Travel+Guide+by+TourRadar+5+5+ST1809-New+Zealand&utm_content=YT+Description ✌️ Subscribe for more travel tips & inspiration: https://www.youtube.com/user/tourradar?sub_confirmation=1 🌍 #gotouring with TourRadar: https://www.tourradar.com ----------------------------------------------- 👫 Let’s get social! Street Food in Pakistan - ULTIMATE 16-HOUR PAKISTANI FOOD Tour in Lahore, Pakistan!

35:23
Thank you to Ali (Pakistan Travel Market): https://goo.gl/VY6NjH SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos every week: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe T-shirts and caps: https://goo.gl/6WdK1l Also, just published a full Pakistan travel guide: https://goo.gl/5MHgz4 I’m very excited to share this first full street food in Pakistan video with you! We started our trip in Lahore, a vibrant, colorful, and packed full of food city. Our first day in Lahore turned out to be a 16 hour street food marathon in Lahore, and it was an amazing day! Get more details on my Pakistan Travel Guide: https://goo.gl/5MHgz4 Sadiq Halwa Puri (https://goo.gl/maps/Yoy9dJ6steF2) - We began the day with a very common breakfast throughout Pakistan, halwa puri, but along with chana curry (chickpea curry). We ate off the car, enjoying every bit of the freshly fried puris and curry. Total price - 640 PKR ($4.78) Chacha Feeka Lassi (https://goo.gl/maps/RGQBRQaNj8p) - Next we drove over to Gawalmandi, one of the most legendary areas in Lahore for food. We headed straight to a breakfast staple, the lassi shop and had the most creamy heavy milkshake I’ve ever had, called a pera lassi. Roasted chickpeas - 25 PKR ($0.19) - After exiting an alley, right in front of us was a man selling chickpeas and corn roasted in black Himalayan salt. It’s a very common street food snack in Pakistan. Sweet potato - 80 PKR ($0.60) - Sweet potato is also a very common street food snack in Lahore, seasoned with masala and a type of citrus juice. Baba Kulfi Wala - Next we headed over to Shah Alami Market, another huge and bustling market in Lahore. Kulfi - 20 PKR ($0.15) each - One of the most famous places to eat ice cream in Lahore is Baba Kulfi Wala, and you’ll find a crowd of people standing around the corner of the road eating sticks of their famous kulfi. Orange juice - 50 PKR ($0.37) Chana chaat - 120 PKR ($0.89) per plate - One of my personal favorite Pakistani street food snacks of the day was chana chaat, a chickpea snack. He added in all sorts of spices, chutneys, and seasonings, to create a deliciously refreshing snack. Butt Karahi Tikka Restaurant - Easily one of the most well known restaurants in Lahore is Butt Karahi, specializing in curry made in a rounded pan, called a karahi (we will be eating a lot of karahi’s in Pakistan!). We ordered both a mutton karahi and chicken karahi. Both were amazing, filled with spices and butter, but the tenderness of the mutton was the winner. Total price - 5,600 PKR ($41.84) Siddique Fish Corner - You’ll notice that Lahore seems to come alive at night, and street food is everywhere at night. We began the evening with Siddique Fish Corner, one of the best fried fish stalls in Lahore. It was awesome, and so busy. Total price - 400 PKR ($2.99) Khalifa Balochi Sajji - Another Pakistani dish I wanted to try was chicken sajji, a type of hand rotisserie chicken. The atmosphere and cooking method was incredible. Total price - 390 PKR ($2.91) Khan Baba Restaurant - Finally for our last dinner on this 16 hour day of food in Pakistan, we went to one of Ali’s favorite restaurants in Lahore, Khan Baba. The goat chops were impressive as was the korma curry. Again, massive thank you to Ali, from Pakistan Travel Mart for hosting us in Pakistan, taking us around, and organizing everything. The Ultimate ETHIOPIAN FOOD TOUR - Street Food and Restaurants in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia!

►Go Addis Tours: http://goaddistours.com/ ►SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe ►T-shirts and caps available now: https://migrationology.com/store/ Thank you to Go Addis Tours (http://goaddistours.com/) for taking me on this amazing ultimate food and market tour of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Ethiopia is one of my favorite countries in the world for food and travel, and this was my second time to visit, and I was eager to explore and eat as much as possible. We started early, 5 am in the morning and Go Addis Tours picked me up to start at the wholesale market. Even though the city is still sleeping, Addis Mercato is buzzing from 3 am when trucks full of produce from all over Ethiopia, sell them at the market in Addis Ababa. You’ll find all the ingredients, and massive amounts, that you need to cooking Ethiopian food. It was a good warm up, to get to know some of the ingredients, before starting the day eating Ethiopian food. We had coffee, and breakfast, both of which were excellent. Later after visiting another market, Dessie took me to his neighborhood to eat shiro wat, one of the greatest of all Ethiopian foods, a thick and rich chickpea stew. I’ve had shiro wat many times before, but never have I seen it fully prepared right in front of me. The shiro was incredibly good, piled onto a bed of injera, and we also ordered fir fir, a mashup of injera, simmered with tomato sauce and berbere. Next we headed to a fish restaurant in Addis Ababa. Ethiopia is landlocked, so all fish is freshwater. We ordered fried fish, and asa lebleb, a mixture of fish sauteed with spices and herbs. Both were excellent, but the asa lebleb was the highlight because it was so flavorful. Next Ethiopian food meal we went to one of the longtime classic restaurants to eat one of the best platters of beyaynetu in Addis Ababa. Beyaynetu is a mix of vegetarian dishes. It was again, a delicious meal, I especially love the tomato salad there. For our final meal of the day, and to finish off this extreme Ethiopian food tour, we went to one of the most well known and best quality meat restaurants in Addis Ababa to eat tere siga - raw meat. You are served a variety of chunks of raw beef, delicately sliced. Then you slice it into bite sized pieces on your own, wrap in injera, and dip into chili sauce before taking a bite. It’s awesome. The fried meat version is also very good. This was an amazing day, and an amazing Ethiopian food tour in Addis Ababa. Thank you Go Addis Tours! Village Food in West Africa - BEST FUFU and EXTREME Hospitality in Rural Ghana!

23:48
This was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had! ►SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe ►T-shirts and caps available now: https://migrationology.com/store/ Many thanks to Afia Tours (https://www.afiatours-ghana.com/) for taking on this amazing village food day trip in Ghana (Note: I paid for this tour, it is not sponsored, but I fully recommend it - it was awesome)! It was about a three hour drive from Accra to get to the village. The village was somewhere in the central Cape Coast region of Ghana (however no near to the coast, but much inland). The people from the village were so incredibly friendly, and it was one of the most genuinely hospitable and friendly villages I’ve ever visited. It was an honor and privilege to spend time at the village. As we arrived, they had already started cooking some Ghanaian food specialties. One the menu, we had banku with okra soup, fufu (a staple of West African food) with palm nut soup, and finally fried plantains with beans. All the food was incredibly good, and it was one of the best bowls of fufu I ate during my entire time in Ghana. Thanks again to Afia Tours (https://www.afiatours-ghana.com/) for setting this up! Ethiopian Food - The ONE DISH You Have To Eat in ETHIOPIA!

20:13
►SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe ►T-shirts and caps available now: https://migrationology.com/store/ One of my main missions when I visited Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, was to learn about how to cook what is for sure one of the most special of all Ethiopian foods: doro wat (ዶሮ ወጥ). Of course, they do serve it at restaurants in Addis Ababa, but there’s nothing like seeing the entire process of a dish, especially a stew like doro wat from start to finish, beginning with a chicken, and finishing by eating. It’s a very complicated dish to make, and it takes utmost care and time. I want to say a huge thank you to Belaneh and his family for graciously inviting us to their home and for cooking the most amazing doro wat - or even Ethiopian food meal - ever. What is doro wat (ዶሮ ወጥ)? Doro means chicken and wat means stew - so it’s an Ethiopian chicken stew. It’s a very special dish to eat in Ethiopia, not an everyday food because it takes so much time to prepare properly. As many Ethiopians told me, it’s a dish they often eat when family comes together, and during special holidays and religious days. I would go as far as saying Doro Wat is one of the best dishes in the world. The complexity yet harmony of spices, the richness, the contrast of taste when paired with injera - your taste buds will be blown off your tongue! Thank you to Bela and his incredible family, they took no shortcuts on making doro wat, and beyond the delicious food, it was so extremely special to get to know them and hang out with them. We first went to the fresh wet market in Addis Ababa to buy a chicken, the live chicken. We then gathered a few more ingredients, including the chopped red onions, which is the main component of doro wat sauce, and went back to Bela’s home. Butchering a chicken in Ethiopian, due to some of the Ethiopian Orthodox traditions, needs to be butchered in a certain way, and washed and cleaned many times. It was by far the most cleansed chicken I’ve ever seen or eaten. The onions simmered for a few hours before we started adding in the berbere blend spice and finally the chicken went in to brew with the amazing spices. To eat Ethiopian food, you first typically build a plate or platter of injera, and then scoop the food onto the injera. We all shared a platter and scooped on the beautiful doro wat. It was unbelievably delicious, so rich and packed with spice. Again, thank you to Bela and his wife (and baby) for cooking us one of the most special meals you can eat in Ethiopia. Food Journey Afghanistan Full Documentary

Afghan cuisine has a style of its own. Fatty dishes are an important fuel in this nation of harsh landscapes and freezing winters, with oil used liberally and mutton fat traditionally added to many dishes. Unlike some in their region, Afghans like their food neither too spicy nor too hot, and they are renowned for their use of dried fruit and nuts.

Singhik View Point, Mangan You will get to see beautiful scenic view from this point. We went there in Monsoon weather we could not see the Mt. Kanchenjunga, otherwise from this point, Mount kanchenjunga can be seen clearly. We did this journey through a local travel agency, its name is Tamu travels… Lalit is the owner: Tamu Tour and travels Development area, Gangtok east Sikkim. http://www.tamutourandtreks.com/ 9832564013 9002069916. This journey from Gangtok to North Sikkim then west and south Sikkim for us was about 7 nights and 8 days.. It costed us Rs 35k… 35k is only for taxi for 8 days. Other costs are extra. This 8 day journey is for North, south and west Sikkim. We paid Rs 2500 for taxi per day in Gangtok, that was for 8 hours.. they charge extra if you hire beyond 8 hours.. we virtually ended up paying about Rs 3300 to 3500 per day for local sight seeing bcoz we had taxi with full for full day early morning to late evening. This complete complete journey from Gangtok to Lachen in North sikkim took us about 13 hours…. Reason it took time was bcoz we stopped for food, shoot took time plus every 30 minutes we took break to see and enjoy the beauty… If you want to plan this journey, i will suggest you to get your bookings done properly because it involves permit. We did this journey during last week of June 2018, which is an off season time… Important note for this journey: Avoid rainy season. Travel in either feb or March or in oct and nov to enjoy sikkim the most. Check with your travel agent on the fact whether can travel to North sikkim or not because some of the routes are closed because of snow. Cost for minimum low cost travel two and a half days in Gangtok will be about Rs 11000 - details in description of previous episodes of Gangtok: Taxi cost for travel to North or other regions of Sikkim: Rs 3500 per day, for certain cost moment you are 2 people cost goes high. for example i have put 400 fare from siliguri to Gangtok for one person so you have to adjust if you are two. Food Rs 1500 hotel: Rs 2000 For every day that you travel in Sikkim minimum cost will be Rs 7000. North sikkim i don't think you can travel by bus, i am not sure, suggest check with some one else...but yes you can travel to other districts of sikkim by bus, check details with tourism office in MG marg Gangtok for details. MG marg is the place which is heart of Gangtok, try taking a hotel near MG marg. Sikkim is over all expensive, so be sure on costs bcoz your budgets can over shoot, especially if you are going in peak season. Cost that you are see are of off season, during season every thing is atleast 30 percent higher on cost... If you have any experience of sikkim travel, do share that in comments below. I would look forward to hear back from you in this regard. Thanks Harish bali
